We at VED Occupational Health Services provide health services to all Occupations which include Hospital services from OPD to IPD treatment, Annual Medical check-ups, Vaccinations & Medicine supply to Industry, Presentation & Training on Various health issues like First AID & Yoga. We expand our services from Industries to Logistics & Marine Health also.

We has simple philosophy of Occupational Health Services - "Anything related to Health, You Name it & We will do It".

Occupational diseases are caused by exposure to harmful Chemical & Biological Hazards at work place and physical health Hazards at work place.

Two factors make Occupational diseases easily preventable:

• First-: The causal agents of these diseases can be identified, measured and controlled.
• Second-: The populations at risk are usually easily assessable and can be regularly supervised & treated and if required shifted to other location.

An important aspect of the control of Occupational disease is early detection, so the treatment can be given while the disease is still reversible.

This is the first center which has been set to provide All Health Related needs of all Occupational. We provide comprehensive Occupational Health safety services all over India & also to International clients.

Our team consists of AFIH qualified doctors with Government approved Certifying Surgeon , Nutritionist, Microbiologist, Statistician, Audiologist, Medical Technician, IT Professionals and field Technicians with Yoga and Meditational Expertise. We also have back up Hospital team for giving Hospital related services.

As per Factory act and requirement of various ISO certification Bodies, pre-employment and Annual Health check-up should be done for all workers. It is in the interest of the company to do Medical check-up to see the suitability of man to the job. We had already conducted Annual Health check-up of more than 10,000 employees. Recently we are conducting Health check-up of 40,000 employees for year- 2010.

At Annual Health check-up, we are

• physical check-up
• Blood Test
• Urine test
• X-ray chest
• Audiometry
• Pulmonary Function Test
• ECG etc.

Health check-up package will be decided according to the requirements of Industry and cost of test. We had basic package to Executive package in which Strees test and USG can be additional tests. This will improve the performance and productivity of the Employees. Annual health checkup package will be decided as per as requirement of company, i.e. your requirements.

GUIDELINES FOR ANNUAL HEALTH CHECKUP

• Take regular medicine in the morning if you are already taking.
• Diabetic patient should not take anti-diabetic drugs in the morning. Please carry the drug/insulin along with you to have it with the breakfast.
• Dont exercise in the morning.
• Do not take oily diet at least 8 hrs before blood test as it affect cholesterol report.
• Wear loose cloth which can be changed if required for X-ray and ECG.
• As per possible do not wear jewelary as it affect ECG and X-Ray.
• Please give preference for diabetes persons in morning hours.
• Wear Glasses (spectacle) who have it for visions.(Eye Checkup).
• Do not eat Pan/Tobacco/Guthaka as it affects oral examination.

REQUIRMENT FOR ANNUAL HEALTH CHECKUP

One room for Presentation on Health and Hygiene and awareness With Projecter for slide presentation with 20 chairs. 2. 10x10 sq.ft. three room with attached Toilet for urine collection. 3. 10 chairs 4. 3 table 5. one bed/sofa for ECG 6. Generator/Inverter backup as continues power backup.

First AID Training

Definition: First aid is the immediate can given to the injured or suddenly ill person until competent medical care is obtained. Timely given First aid measure will save the life of person and also has psychological Impact that something positive is going on till the Expert medical treatment is available.

We are conducting comprehensive course of FIRST AID which will prepare participates to make appropriate decision about recognition, preventation and Treatment for emergencies.

This course will be conducted on site at company premises or at our Institute which will covers airway, breathing, circulation management, Bleeding, burns, electric shock, musculoskeletal & soft tissue injury, poisoning, bandage, splinting & how to handle victim during shifting/ transport. It also cover medical emergency like diabetic coma, convulsion & hypertension.

The basic cardiac life support (LPR) will be demonstrated on mannequin (dumy). This course is of two way communication so get the confident in Participates. Approximately 10% of employees must get First- Aid training & reported every yearly.

We will Issue Certificate of participation along with hand book on CPR/ First Aid which will be helpful in knowledge up gradation. We can provide customized packages to suit your individual needs.

First Aid Box

Apart from giving first AID Training, we also provide first AID Box to the industries depending upon their needs. Recently we are supplying first AID Box to Linfox Logistics India Pvt Ltd for their container in large amount. This can be used by common peoples including drivers for their minor illness when medical facilities are not available on the spot. We also provide First AID Book in English & Hindi language For easy utility of Box.

As per Factory act 1948 The services of a Medical Officer and Nurse is compulsory as per the factories rules. The requirement is different for factories employing 50 workers, 51 to 200 and above 200 workers... One full time factory Medical Officer for factories employing up to 500 workers and more medical officer for every additional 1000 workers or part thereof. There shall be one nurse, one dresser cum compounder and one sweeper cum ward boy throughout the working period.

Medical Manning (Doctors and Paramedics)

It is very important and must to establish a health center for set up of over 100 employees and organizations with 24x7 functioning as emergencies are never planned and predictable.

Again it has been a statutory requirement for posting factory Doctors (Industrial Physicians) and Paramedics in Factories and industries.
